Darlanne Fluegel

Darlanne Fluegel born is an American actress and model. She had the female lead roles in a number of films throughout the 1980s.

Fluegel was born in Pasadena, California. Fluegel started her modeling career in 1974 and ended it in 1981. She made her screen debut with supporting role in the 1978 film Eyes of Laura Mars. Her first major film role was as Nanelia in the cult scifi film Battle Beyond the Stars . She was featured in Sergio Leones film Once Upon a Time in America as Robert De Niros girlfriend Eve and in Tough Guys as Kirk Douglas girlfriend. In 1985, she appeared in To Live And Die In L.A. as Ruth Lanier, the love interest of William Petersens main character Secret Service Agent Richard Chance. Not long afterward, in early 1986, she portrayed Billy Crystals exwife, Anna, in the hit buddycop action comedy Running Scared. As lead actress, Fluegel starred in the independent film, Freeway .
